The shooting occurred at 511 Bank Street in Fall River just after 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III said on Twitter.
The suspected shooter, identified as a 25-year-old Christopher Jean Baptiste, allegedly shot and killed his fiancé's father, 68-year-old Hubert Labasquin, before shooting his fiancé's sister and mother. Baptiste then turned the gun on himself, Quinn said.
Both women, who are 59 and 25 years old, were taken to area hospitals for treatment and are expected to survive, Quinn said. Quinn said there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
